Adult Leaders

By following the links on this website, you can see what scouting has to offer young people aged 6-20 in our area. None of this would be possible without the adult volunteers who run the group, and who also enjoy the fun and friendship of Scouting.

The average length of service for adult scouters is three years, so we continually need new leaders. As well as helping young people to enjoy the adventure of Scouting, you get the opportunity to try a whole range of different activites, new experiences and lots of new friends.

Scouting may help you to develop your current skills or learn new ones. Volunteering in Scouting can enhance your CV or simply allow you to pursue your interest in a specific hobby.

You don't need any previous experience in Scouting, just energy, commitment and enthusiasm.

All of our adult volunteers receive full induction, in-service training and ongoing support.
